Seeing that hood off and painted makes me want to take off mine and bed line it. I've been thinking about it for a while. I think it'd look pretty cool. I'd also bed line the bumper covers and plastic molding if I did that.

I thought about doing that to my hood & between the roof rack rails because of the clearcoat pealing. I'll also be doing my cladding & bumpers to remove that thick gold stripe on them.

Thought about painting my stock tear drop wheels black also. Glad you posted those pic's "speedbucket"

Ya I live up north with alot of road salt. I plan on patching that up and hopefully park it thus winter. The rocker and exhaust are pretty much the extent of the cancer at this moment.

brakes

Just did a full rebuild on the drums in the back. What a total pain! I can see why disc conversion is so appealing! However is does stop like a mo-fo again.

I had a little bit of time today before work so I decided to finally deaden the front doors of the Jeep. I had/still have a ton of Audio Wrap deadener. This stuff is super sticky. The backing on it isn't paper like other deadeners, it's plastic. That kinda sucked because it was tearing and stretching while I was attempting to pull it off. Other than that, I don't have any complaints about the product. I did my best to seal off the doors using the deadener. The only holes left were holes the door panels inserted to. On to the pics...

I did slip my mind to get a pic of the passenger door before I started deadening. I guess you can imagine a mirror image of the driver door for what that looked like before I started.

The deadener made a world of difference. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that I had a new set of mids in the doors. They shine now more than ever before. This is the first time I was able to "A B" test deadener. When I did my car, I deadened as I installed the 720PRS components; I've never heard them in my doors without the deadener. I've been running these speakers for quite some time now with no deadener. The couple of hours I spent doing this today was well worth it.

Tires

Finally sorted out the tire and wheel combo I was looking for.

Picked up a set of Ravens{Ravines} off of CL and had the KM2's installed White Letter out.

The Progression.
