I like the windshield mount, side mount looks susceptible to breaking when you drive through what ever diamond tip trees you drive though.

Yeh, the magnet is mainly to test angles and see what I like. A real rear quarter mount would be based off dyn0mitemat's rear quarter armor using the step bar as mount and protection.

I really want to take a couple of my dad's gopros and mount them on my Jeep and my 240. That'd be cool. And he's not even using them! He's got like 4 now!

The side of your ZJ might give mine a run for its money scratch wise. It's close... The joys of wheeling.

Crazy how close I was to getting metal to metal in the front. I was already touching in back, which why I replaced them (I didn't hear the little screeching sound at all since owning it June of this year.) . I also did the parking brake pads, I almost have a working parking brake, just need more tweaking with the little gear inside the rotors.

Oh well, no more pulsing brakes.
Not all pads have those indicators!

After my fill up this morning, I calculated 17.6 mpg. I decided to also reset the trip info on my Garmin. After driving an indicated 75.1 miles, my Garmin had me at 74.2 miles. I guess that would ever so slightly lower my mpg info from the last 2 days, maybe like half a mile per gallon. That's an error of about 3.7% between my Garmin and my odometer. I wonder what spec is? There's gotta be some allowable error. I do have the correct speedometer gear for my 31s and 3.73s.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure I have yet to install a set on my ZJ that does have them.

Right. Just replaced rear pads, neither old nor new pads had indicators.

Well after plenty of calls and emails all the 5.2's around here have sold . That leaves me with two 4.0's, one which is pristine and over priced and another which is reasonable but I don't know much about it yet nor have I seen any pictures. The good news is that they both have a 242 from what I can gather and that's my biggest requirement.

Got tired of wrestling my rusted solid bleeder screws on my back brakes so I ripped out both wheel cylinders and will knock out new brakes to go with my all new brake lines on monday.

I saw several references to finding cup holders... what are these? Happen to have a pic?

Finished the XJ Dana 44 rear axle conversion today, along with rebuilt 242/SYE. Felt good to drive around the neighborhood again. Been awhile..
