The 82-92 camaro even with the V8 was in the 16's stock. Was either a V6 which is a pig or he wasnt trying. The 5.2 does make good power, they launch pretty good, then fall on their face up top. A little work can solve those problems though.
trying or not he knows what my tails look like and smelled some 87/ethanol/oil mix

3000-4500 rpms is about it ( stock heads )

and lets not forget with 302.5k miles on it now its just finally breaking in , i could still pick up a few more ponys !

Not enough mods to need one really but then again I bought it like this so IDK if it has one or not.

302k is a lot on the 5.2, i wouldnt beat on it much. May not be a whole lot on the 4.0 but the 5.2 and 5.9 are much different engines. Great engines but thats still a lot of miles. I dont think he even knew you were racing him though lol. That or he just didnt care to waste his gas blowing you away.

Which is why I got the 4.0 but I wouldn't mind a 5.9 at this point. Also keep thinking it's not worth putting the long arms I've got on my ZJ since it's not a reversible process and it's got some rust in places that wouldn't be fun to try and fix.

I saw these mesh grill inserts online somewhere and decided that I would fab some up for my 96 from a piece of stainless mesh I had lying around, sprayed them black, they look really good in the stock grill!

Ya but they do like to crack heads when beat on. My 5.2 had both cracked.

They crack heads anyway. However, they usually just form a hairline crack between the valve seats that doesn't leak. Usually, you don't find out until you pull the heads and determine they're not good to re-use.

I've helped a lot of people with Dodge trucks and vans with that 5.2. At well over 300,000 miles. Beat on their whole lives. You see a LOT of vehicles, working auto parts. I'm here to say the LA Magnum is a durable damn engine. They're tough to kill as long as you keep oil in 'em and don't overheat 'em too much.

Those tow hooks aren't there for me. They're there for the XJs.
