Not sure what I might be missing here. But if he's just trying to install an overhead into a zj that doesn't have one, it's easy as long as he matches the console to the jeep. If the console and the harness is from a (I believe) 93 to 95 and his ZJ is the same, it's mostly plug and play. Same goes for 96 to 98, although I may be off on the years. The only part that requires actual work is mounting the ambient temp sensor and running the wires for it to the harness.

Drove mine down to CT on Tuesday, put almost 400 miles on it. And it'll be taking me back to Rochester on Sunday.

I've lifted my ZJ with them. I haven't had the opportunity to wheel since I've installed them though. I also don't know when I'll be wheeling it again because the ZJ just got temporarily re-assigned as my daily driver; my Nitro was a company vehicle and I'm going through a job change. In fact, to stay on topic, I've been getting my ZJ back up to the task of daily driver duty this week. So far I've changed my intake manifold gasket for the second time in less than 2 years. This time I threw away the cork and used black RTV gasket maker instead. The cork was leaking in the back. I also swapped my coolant bypass hose again and my upper radiator hose. It's the original so I figure it's time.

97 ZJ - 5.2L, 242, 4" IRO lift w/short arms & adj. TBs, JKS Discos/BPEs, DT3000s, Aussie'd 44A, sliders, bumpers, bunch o' skids, 31" Duratracs on 15x8s

That's the problem they came out of a 98 I have a 95 only think I care about is the lights

Thought I was going crazy hearing a whistling sound coming from mine last night. Couldn't figure out if it was the trans/something with the drivetrain, if I had messed up some of the door weatherstripping from making pillar mounts or what.

Turns out it was coming from the holes I drilled in a cross bar for my Hellas up top that had been making the noise.

I have been thinking recently of getting an OBD2 ZJ. Either a 5.9 or swapping a 5.9 into it, then getting an upgraded cam, heads, exhaust, and headers. Make a goal of like 400 hp.
