I like going up in the winter. We dont see much rain here anymore so its the closest thing we have to getting into slick mud. It makes the tails a bit more interesting, I dig it.

I can't seem to find where I found it before. However, does anyone know which year XJs came with non-disco HP30's?

A quick google search and I saw that 92+ were that way, however I'm not sure.

1993 to 1999 XJ's came equipped with a HP30 front axle (non-disco) that has one piece inner axles and rotates the differential and front drive shaft whenever the vehicle is moving.

2000 and 2001 have a low pinion D30 front axle (sometimes referred to as the TJ axle)

.................

Also brought another ZJ early this morning, this is what happens when I go on vacation to the family! HAHAHAHAHA How am I going to bring it back with me?????????????

$2,200 96', 5.2L V8, 4wd full-time.

If you get one from an abs equipped then you dont have to change anything major. If it doesnt have abs then you have to change knuckles and all to use

Yea you do though. ABS shafts use bigger u joints Not to mention in some states if the ABS light is on, you fail inspection. Ah and no pulling the bulb out doesnt fool anyone.
