Just took a look at them, Good luck with your welding, hope it goes well.

Although $400 holy **** lol. I've got $250 into my front and rear bumpers!

Now to find some 31x10.5x15 Tires at a reasonable price.

I found I need front and rear sway bar bushing and a left side axle boot.
Also found a little play in the right front hub bearing.
I may do the sway bar links next weekend but I think I'm going to hold off on the Boot and the Hub bearing ( 2014 Spring or Summer Project )
My Falkens were about $116 a piece and are rated for 50,000 miles. I like them, very quiet on the road but so far seem pretty good off road.

I'm very happy with how everything is going. The plans left me with a few questions since it's my first time doing anything like this (no CAD experience or MIG welding experience) but I was able to figure it out. Can't wait to get the bumpers done and then long arms installed! I'm not sure why I waited this long to learn how to weld, I personally think I'm very damn good at it.
Nice job - What thickness did you go with, 1/4'' or 3/16'' ?
Did someone cut out all the pieces for you..
I'm trying to find out where I could have that done around me I'm interested in making a set of bumpers for myself soon.

I went with the recommended 3/16". I had the pieces cut at Blackhawk Fabrication in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Very happy with them, friendly guys and timely work. They even were able to supply some of the steel for me.

I got a tax bill in the mail for my wrecked ZJ, apparently, in NC, because I kept it after the accident, I'm required to pay property tax on it, every year, while I slowly part it out. I may have to gut it and haul the carcass to the wreckers. So, I'll still have a complete ZJ, less the unibody. Never disassembled a ZJ completely yet.

Decided that, this winter, I will be pulling off the exhaust manifold and welding that crack at the point where the pipes all meet, tired of that early morning noise.
