Sunk my jeep. So I started to take my carpet out. Sucks!!!!
Also, tried to chase some electrical issues, but no luck. Kinda scared to be driving it like that.

I rebuilt the starter today. Brushes were sticking so i found some replacements from a local wholesale parts place for $4.89 and took it apart, gave it a bath, and put it back together with new brushes and its like new again.

Hey i dont know if you know about this, but ZJ's are not like dogs. If you just throw them in the water like that they wont start swimming

The empty fuel tank must have been acting as a flotation device

That is almost as deep as mine was when I sunk a few weeks ago. Water was up tot he edge of my windshield.
Cost me a good chunk. All of my differential fluids had to be flushed. My t-case and transmission were both full of water. Since I didn't try to crank it afterwards I managed to save the transmission by flushing it with 30 quarts of ATF+4.
My power distribution center was contaminated as well as the fuse panel at the passenger floorboard panel. Pulled all fuses and relays, cleaned the connections and used dielectric grease on all of them.
Seats and interior all came out and was disassembled and washed. Dried the foam and reassembled. Dash trim all came out, the center console came out and all of that was cleaned and dried.
