NC has weird laws on Tint. Passenger cars, 32% max on any window, SUV's trucks and vans, 32% on windows in front of the driver and passenger doors, no limit on anything behind that. No aftermarket tint on windshields, period, no decals/tint/strips on windshied below ANSI line, or 6" from top of windshield, whichever is shortest distance. No mirrored tint(grey area on SUV,van or truck back windows) No colored tint(greens blues etc.) You can get a medical waiver, good for one year.
$10 fee for tint with every inspection.

At least your friend got a fix it ticket, illegal tint in NC is now a misdemeanor, not a traffic citation. Officer can make that call.

Locker in the front works great! However, cv axles don't. I snapped one already driving up a stump, note i did sorta push it. Looks like i'll be needing to switch to u-joints soon very soon.

Find someone who's good with a mig welder. 10 minutes and it's out.

How many miles were on that shaft? CV joints do get a bit weaker as they wear. As far as stock shafts, the CVs and u-joints are pretty close in strength (and the CVs don't lose strength as you increase angle like the u-joints do).

Yea. It was replaced with the BB less then 10k ago. Had it looked at when I got the alignment after the accident less then 1k ago as well. Gonna snug it down some more (if possible) later.

Edit: popping comes from both sides.

Ahh, that would make sense. I know i've replaced one of my cv shafts before. I'm pretty sure it was the passenger side one, and today i broke the drivers side. So i bet that drivers cv is original, or at least 6 years old. I'll run down to the parts store and replace it with a new cv in a few minites. I'm glad it broke in my driveway though, that way i didn't have to limp home with no spare shaft.

Cut my catalytic converter off to see if it was clogged and possibly causing my problems.

Well it wasn't clogged.

I made a custom intake today... will be painted and wrapped in heat tape once completely finished... decided i wanted to be different and not do a snorkel, so i ran mine through the cowl and into the blower intake, ( i have no blower motor due to just a play toy )...

Last picture is under the dash showing where the pipe runs too... will be getting a filter for it but the one i had was too large for the blower opening

works great and is loud as no other inside the jeep lol

You, sir, are a very strange individual. I like that in a person.
