btw for an update, if you buy a 5q penzoil platinum they have a 50c off/gal gas at shell if you active online. Worth it if you're about to do an oil change.

Mine is covered by flat black patches due to fixing chips it has gotten in its life.

Gave up on my wife's ZJ's hard starts, sputtering, and stalling and took it to the garage down the road after 10 minutes they called and said the fuel pump runs, but has ZERO psi....
So they're putting in a new pump and fuel filter.

Shouldn't have been a cheap ****....
The hundo I didn't wanna spend on a fuel pressure gauge turned into 4 times that amount, in a hurry....

Lesson learned. The hard way.

(just the mockup, the final one is some 3/16 bar I had around the garage)

Yeah I think most people will agree a snorkel completes "the look" but most of us would rarely make use of it. Still kinda nice to know that the engine is getting cooler air and you have a much better shot of getting out of a flash flood should that ever happen.

I picked up another gasket and some black rtv for my trans pan. I followed the directions and put it on dry 2 days ago, that sure as s*** didn't work (leaking at least half a quart a day, wasn't an issue before). So hopefully a new gasket, some light rtv and taking a wire wheel/brush to the pan/trans will keep it from leaking. Not what I need when I'm moving 430 miles away in 4 days.

I agree! My Zj is suffering from a good case of trail rash!. Except on that fender I replaced after the accident, its in perfect shape. That's what I get for having my perfectionist body work guy paint it for me.

OT: disconnected the batt since it hasn't been cranked in a few weeks. Gonna have to put the charger on it prob tomarrow.

96 ZJ sittin up 6" on 35's with 4:56's and a 12k winch. Cuz...why the hell not!?

why have no radio when you could rip out that waste of space below the hvac unit and put it there

Yeah thats why I got it lol. Well probably 70% looks, 30% function. Figure it's the coldest air you can take in. So better then the intake I have now, looks cool, and if I ever run into the need for a water crossing or I wanna drive around in one of the many heavy rainfalls we get ill have it. lol

But yeah, mostly looks, lol
