Finally got around to swapping out my drivers side door, wasted hinge and latch. Worst part was getting the wiring plugs disconnected.

Now I will have to re-learn how to shut the door, a two finger nudge and it's latched.

YaaWhoooo !

i replaced the rear pinion seal again, this time no leaks!

Bought the ZJ a while back after the previous owner had hit a deer with it. Today I finished cutting the replacement parts from a donor vehicle. This may be a good time to deviate from deer damage repair and pull the engine and fix the transmission fluid leak that's coming from the bell housing area.

I had to get an idler pully, extension, and Serpintine belt...some reason the old one got loose and fell off leaving me without a belt on the highway. Also replaced the radiator because the tanks seperated. Replaced the starter cause it went bad. Next up A/C discharge line, find my vacuum leak, hydraulic leak and replace the ignition coil. unless there is another way...im having a misfire in the 4th cylinder

I agree and............do a winch bumper as long as you have to weld in there anyway

I had a lock right in the rear axle of my old toyota and it made the tires chirp when turning corners and while driving through parking lots and I had it skip teeth a couple times while driving low speeds in my old neighborhood too. I don't know if you would want one of those in the front axle for a DD, I would immagine it would be like rolling around wih a 249 that had a bad VC but worse.

Hes got a 231 now though so a front lunchbox locker shouldnt engage on the street in 2wd as far as I know.

It won't engage so to speak but it will make both front tires act as one and in my opinion I wouldn't want it on a dd in bad weather. I had them in a cj but with locking hubs it was a non issue on the street.

Good point, I didn't think about that. No power being sent to the front diff should keep the locker from engaging. My bad...
