Today I picked up a mic mount from RadioShack, so now I have a place to hang my CB mic. Also found some flat aluminum at Home Depot that I cut in preperation for my CB antenna mount bracket. And I also pulled the NSS off, cleaned it out, sanded the terminals, filled it with dialectic grease, and put it back. Reverse lights finally work! Would have gotten the wiring all zip tied back, and the bracket for the antenna mounted if it hadnt started pouring rain while i layed underneath the Jeep.
Sitting & staring at the Blackbird gettin soooooaked another day instead of rippin out the bumba De agua. No parts place was open today so I can't pick up a WJ fan for the e-fan conversion which I want to do all at once so I guess the leaky lil bastard will hafta wait til next weekend for a full day under the hood while I keep the coolant topped off. :/
I decided on my final plan. I'm gonna put a new door panel in, have a new catback exhaust put together and installed, and finish the front end work. If that fixes everything I'll keep it. If not, I'm gonna sell her. If it seems to fix things, but any stalling or muffler issues return within the next year or two, I'm selling it and buying something that works. 99% likelihood that thing won't be a Jeep.
If it comes to selling Cheyenne, I'll eventually come back to ZJs, but it's gonna be a good long while.
