Today I received all the parts I had on order for fixing my jeep, including an iro double shear trackbar conversion, doetsch tech front shocks, and all new trackbar and control arm bushings. After work I went out and searched through a few junkyards for a front axle. I ended up with a complete hp30 out of a 98 xj for $200, axles, hubs, and all. I was quoted $350 and $450 at two other yards. I can't wait to get this thing back on the road.

Today I removed my replacement door, pulled the wiring harness, and rewired the entire harness to get my windows and locks working. Everything works now. Also rewired CB to key switched power, and cig lighter to battery power. Only wierd thing is that with the key in the ignition, not turned on, the doors will unlock, but not lock. With the key out of the ignition, it will lock and unlock just fine. Not sure if thats supposed to be that way or what? Now i'm thinking of ordering a few things before i head to bed tonight....

I replace the I-ring in the AC line near the passenger valve cover. Hope that is the only leak. Borrowing a vacuum tomorrow and going to leak test, and hopefully get it filled up with r134a.

Bought a air-conditioned 98 ZJ earlier in the week, erased codes to pass emissions cold, and spent an hour changing plugs, for those understanding the A/C impediment, yes I changed #1, and was fortunate to find the high side tubing worn through by the Cruise Control bellows cable.
Had to jump it yesterday. Apparently bumped a touch light with head and didn't know it. Told the wife the front diff needed a rebuild. Took it better than I thought she would, but still not happy. Things are tight as it is, but it has to be done.
