Got one in my 90 1500. Came stock on the inner passenger fender. Love it, reaches to anywhere on the truck! Heads up, they HOT AS HELL when in use. Watch it.

I know.

I almost felt bad paying his asking price. The hardware box still had the original invoice from three years ago showing it was $199 plus $32 shipping.

Installed new motor mounts and transmission mount. (old ones were badly deteriorated)

Smoother ride, and no more vibration!

Yeah, I have one in the '94 GMC. That's where I got the idea. That thing works great for all my ailments with that truck, so I decided I'd rig one into the Jeep. Might try and get an LED for it at a later point, but I think the main modification is going to be replacing the weak iron-glue magnet with a neodymium magnet for better sticking power.

Got a couple questions:

1. Who the hell thought the rubber push-plug for the D-30 axle was a good idea as opposed to a screw in plug like on the D-35?? Its leaking cuz it won't pop in tight enough.

2. Can you even buy just the rubber plug? Anybody ever found a better solution that doesn't leak besides encasing the plug in RTV (somebody did that to mine)

D30 plugs are screw in, not rubber. The rubber plug on my D44a doesn' t leak at all, FWIW. Make sure the fluid isn't above the bottom of the fill hole.

As stated above, D30s have screw in plugs. You can buy new rubber plugs though. I have a new one in my 44a.

Dorman # 090-062 or Motormite # 65293. Just about any auto parts store can order that in for you if they don't have it in stock already. Shouldn't be more than a couple bucks.
