Well yesterday put a BB, track bar and steering stabalizer in. The track bar body side bolt and SS draglink bolt took 3 hours to get those out.

swapped my factory I6 springs for a set of I6 up country springs. Nearly 2" lift over what it was before.

Took it to Rausch Creek and wheeled it a bit harder than I probably should have. Following friends in locked YJs on 33s didn't get me into too much trouble, although they were taking it a bit easy.

Carnage list:
- Smashed the hell out of my y-pipe
- Shattered an aux reverse light
- Ripped off a rocker cover (undamaged, just needs new clips to go back on)
- Bent the RF LCA
- Slightly bent the RF LCA bracket
- Tweaked the steering a hair I think, as the wheel is a little off center now

It still drove fine on the way home and tracked straight, so there's no critical damage, but definitely some stuff that needs fixing.

Also, whatever genius at Doug Thorley designed the y-pipe for these headers didn't think for even a second about off-road use. The pipe sits about 2 - 3" lower than it needs to, so it now has 2 almost baseball sized dents in it, a golf-ball sized dent and a few flat spots and scrapes. I smacked it on almost as many rocks as the rear diff, lol.

Gave it some rattle can love, going after the M1009/ccuv look.
Doing the rest today, then adding the camo.

Got my 231 apart, think this chain needs replacing? It looks and feels pretty tight to me.

That's about how mine looked, and it felt pretty tight as well and I called it good... I havnt had time to swap cases, and I'm still waiting on a new oil slinger from 4 wheel parts so I don't know for sure if its good to go yet but she sounds like she's good to go after now that she's back together.

Took off and resealed the rear license plate trim piece.
There were lots of telltale signs of water getting through it after I got it off.
Also took out the license light lenses, cleaned them, and resealed them too, after changing out the burnt bulbs.

I've heard the oil slinger isn't necisary, but i guess i should probably go ahead and order one so that i'm not regretting it later. How much was your replacement? I'm on my phone so i can't check.

Sweet! It seamed a lot tighter then my 249 so i figured it was good. I got a good case i think, even the magnet was almost spotless!

Got the interior lights to work, they havn't worked since i bought it. Put on a new body side mount for the transfer case linkage so i can shift into 4 wheel, shifts into each setting perfectly now. Cut and rolled the pinch seams.
