Replaced my front lower control arm bushings the other day. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it went using a 10lb sledge, total time was about an hour from start to finish. I was even more pleased with the results, as the front end feels much better, but that's not surprising given the condition of the old bushings:

I plan on doing the uppers this spring when I do my lift.

Those are stock bushings. Probably never been changed. Mine looked like that too. Night and day difference with how it rode after.

Yeah, there wasn't much left of them that's for sure. At least one of the previous owners replaced all the rears with urethane.

That was my thinking too. They almost made it 225k miles before the front end started to get a little death wobbly over bumps. Hopefully my Raybestos/Clevite replacements give me a decent service life.

When I had my BB I ordered all 8 new Moog arms and installed them. Like you said, night and day difference in ride and handling.

I "fixed" my exhaust system today, it was a mess! Nothing a handfull of muffler clamps couldn't take care of.

Rotated my tires today, cleaned the one up real good before it went in the back cuz I havnt had a 31" cover made yet. Put the spare rim on for what looks like the first time ever! I know its the first time I personally put a tire on it!

Went to a junkyard and pulled a 231 to swap into my grand, man those bolts on the back of the xj transmission are a ***** compared to the bolts on the zj. It was impossible to get any sizable ratchet on those things. Glad I have a zj and not an xj.

Oh and grabbed a 2wd cubby from a zj while i was there. Bye bye stupid broken vic!

We were pulling the motor and trans from my buddy's xj, the rest was getting scrapped so we cut a hole in the floor to get to the bolts easier

Grille Modification Again.

Change the grill, got back to the Chrome grille, but a little different.
Place some circled net into it, check it out.
