Wow that sucks. Insurance going to total it? Too bad she didn't hit the bumper instead or if you could have turned into her lol. I can already tell she is an idiot from those horse hoofed shoes she is wearing.

Ha. That's the first thing my girlfriend noticed when she got there. Her husband if you will notice, is wearing Velcro shoes himself lol.

Insurance will likely total it. Depending on how much they offer me, I might fix this one, or there's this niner on CL I kinda want. You can't go wrong with a niner. Plus ill get to keep most of my lift parts, bumpers, new duratracs etc to put on the niner.

When she hit me, she banged the drivers front tire, then kind of slid her bumper under my rocker panel. Any more speed or even less brake on my part and the jeep would have continued forward and the back tire would have ended up on her hood. I should have let it.. Lmao.

I do have to say this though: between all of the mangled cracked and bent brackets and everything the iro track bar and ironman control arms sustained NO damage. These things are beef.

I had found a bit of surface rust and a tiny rust hole under the rear carpet by the brake lights when I fixed my fuel door, so today went and got some rust treatment, primer, and paint. Already got the grinder and steel brushes. Better get it taken care of before Cleveland winter happens!
That also likely means I've got a leak somewhere, I'm guessing in the roof rail screw holes, so I also picked up some black rtv. Also going to repaint the rails while I've got them off.

I found rust at the rear of my sills, and where my previous repair was.

Time to get the old mig out the shed, and some scrap metal, I think

Just driving about now, and enjoying the scrubbing noises from my 249 when I turn

Got the alignment today and had them give me their opinion on the piping in the front.......their just as baffled as me! Funny thing was he spotted what few mods I have done right away, like the ac drain, the front drive shaft upgrade!

Shes finally running again. Got the diffs topped off, transfer case filled back up, and transmission fluid and filter done. Since I have yet to have to top off the tranny with fluid prior to this fluid change, I was unaware that the bracket on the dipstick tube is broke. Which in return left a crack in the tube. And when pouring too much fluid it would run out of the crack. Gonna JB weld it for now until i can get my hands on a new one. But she runs good, shifts good, and no leaks!

I thought about it, but with 225k miles on the engine and that I paid only $500 for the Jeep, I think I'm gonna see how far this pump will go.

Although I'm not 100% on that, so I may end up replacing it anyway.
