Huh?

Did you get my post confused with the broken shock post? That doesn't make sense either because he said he removed the shock.

Most of the ones I've seen trim the hood bracing.

Now, regardless of what I choose to do with the Jeep, I'm buying a bike in January. A new CBR250 would make an excellent commuter, between the fuel economy and the chance to build some credit. In the in-between I do need to save some money to buy gear and attend a training course.

I may have other options open to me as far as the Jeep goes. For the time being, it needs about $600 in parts for the front end. I think if I keep the speed under 45 and only drive to school and work, I should be able to drive it like this until the end of the month, when I'll have a bit more money and can possibly do that.
If the 240 is drivable and doesn't need a bunch of money put into it, drive it for now and slowly accumulate the parts to fix the Jeep. The 240 probably gets better mpg anyway, meaning less money spent on gas.

What does the front end need?
