If I hadn't gone to a military college, there's no way I would have finished school. It was the longest, most miserable, soul crushing, depressing experience of my life... But I wouldn't have done it any other way. Or couldn't have done it... Whatever.
Now I have a pretty good job, making the kind of money that would be amazing if I wasn't in so much debt. I keep telling myself it'll all be worth it someday, but there have been more than a few times I though "I should have just gone to tech school... Learned to weld (well enough to make money), or gotten ASE certifications, or..."
On topic... Purchased some Eibach loweringsprings for the niner.
Get it? The words get smaller. Just like the Jeep will. See what kind of wit a $100,000 college education gets you?
Making money is fine, but if your debt means your net worth is negative, you still have negative net worth. You owe more than you have, and at least I don't.
But, nice on the Eibach.
I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life at 20. Hell, when I graduated 25 (yes, it took me 7 years, a change of majors and change of schools to get my degree with my business minor) I didn't know what I wanted to do. I fell into a field service job and don't think I'd want to change it for anything.
I look at my cousin, who graduated class of '05, and has been in college on and off ever since, and doesn't even have his associates on lock. And Logan isn't a dumb dude. But he's also not making any money to speak of at his unspecified aeronautics job, and it's not really getting his career any further.
I'd rather not get into that mess.
It's not easy, I'm drudging my way through college right now. Full-time mind you, while working a ****ty delivery job full-time to support myself. And on top of that I have to find time to squeeze flight school in-between. My quality of life is complete ****, but I'd rather bust my *** when I'm young so I won't have to struggle later (like my parents did). Also as someone that's working on getting into aviation, aircraft mechanics (A&P's) are in fact in demand. But not at the Major airlines, you have to look at general aviation. There's far more work for an A&P doing annuals and rebuilds on 4 seat piston-pushers then there will ever be at the airlines. The pay is still good and if you're looking to work on turbine's there's still work in the corporate sector.
And on topic, ordered a MV-50 air compressor fro Q industries. Has great reviews, it'll be nice to be able to air back up on my own for once.
...which is why I'm not really sure about aircraft mechanic. Logan's job seems to be related to the business somehow, but he's expressed significant dissatisfaction on many an occasion.
You should figure out what is causing your DW before you drop change on KOR's (mostly bull****) kit.
Most importantly, though, listen to this man. Death wobble is caused by a few simple things, and there is no cure in throwing parts at your Jeep. I'd say most DW is caused by improper caster, and the remainder is caused by worn out track bar.
For my part, I bought a sun shade for the Orvis. It's just too hot, and it spends the day parked east-west, so the windshield spends all its time letting the sun in.
