Ya I drove it 30 miles home and had to milk the throttle as I watched the rpms going up and down and no code til I got into town and stopped and watched the rpms hop around a little more and then the light. I've never been happier in my life to see an engine light

Picked up my oil and filter last night. Went to a buddy's house and changed that this morning. I'm house sitting while he's on vacation and his girlfriend said I could drive her Jeep while they were gone so I'll be rolling in a new 4-door jk for a week. Hopefully mine won't get jealous on me...

Installed my rear diff skid today and finished another driveway alignment by straightening my steering wheel. Well, we'll see how straight I got it when I go to drive it.

See my build for more pics of the skid if you want to see more.

It's been parked all summer, while I drive my Crossfire.

So...I fixed a major door dent...that my neighbor was so kind to give me...
Fixed other rust spots and a small dent.
Under coated inside of door bottoms.
Fixed a broken "vent" glass...bought that way, what did I wait so long?
Replaced hatch and rear window support shocks.
Cleaned detailed inside, fixed broken up center console.
Fixed/ jiggled connector for fan speed(high)...nice.
Painted cladding/bumpers.
Changed oil. Air cleaner fine.
Cleaned throttle body and linkage.
Replaced battery.
Cleaned engine a little.
Removed tree sap. Discovered K&N filter cleaner melts trees sap..."good for your hands
Polished and waxed. First time for me(had it 4 years).

Ready for winter driving when Crossfire is covered up in garage.

Soon, brake pads and rotors.

I know...no pics...blah, blah...later.
Thanks for listening...

Gave it a long overdue wash and started diagnosing the heater door issue. The motor moves, so I have a feeling I failed to reattach the door properly when I put things back together. Now to see if I can manage to fix it without having to drop the dash again...

Solid junkyards finds

Got 2 white fenders with correct stripping and year for my ZJ ( good paint and minimal rust)
And I also was lucky and found a pair of rear light guards
Just bedlinered them and am going to put them on tomorrow I just started taking the fenders off and it got dark so I will finish in the morning

Noticed this yesterday, looks like someone wanted in but didn't quite make it. Not 100% sure when or where this happened but I hope they don't decide to come back and break a window or something. Not sure why my phone keeps rotating vertical pics on their side either.

Received JKS disconnects from UPS on Friday...was hoping to get them installed today, but ran out of time. Still, excited to get them installed this week.

Managed to order the wrong alternator for a 2001 Durango (4.7). Have to wait till Thursday to get the Jeep running again.
