This is a really good idea. I'll have to do this when I find a bit of time.

Don't plastidip moabs please for the love of god.
I plasti-dipped my snowflakes a little over a month or so ago. It's not a bad look, but I'm missing what little "bling" the stock silver and gold had. Not to mention around here everyone and their brother is sporting black wheels.

There is a customer support number to register your car or you can go to the jeep website and register it. I registered and called them but have not yet gotten a notification in the mail. If there is an older recall that has not been performed you can print off a letter to take to the dealer to have them perform the work.

My ZJ has never been stuck, it was just taking a break from being so awesome!

Plasti dip peels off right? If you don't like it, undo

Yes. From what I've read, the thicker you apply it, the easier it is to undo because it'll come off (hopefully) in one piece. I'll probably have first hand knowledge on this by the end of the weekend.

Make sure you spend time prepping your wheels before you spray. The cleaner the surface, the easier it will be to peel off if you decide you don't like it.

plasti-dip rims= Mall crawler

i plasti dipped my hummvee intake cap and my white firestik and it lasted about an hour before it was shredded. a stout puddle would probably take it off rims

Not it its applied correctly. I did the wheels on my last truck and never had any problems with them peeling or anything for the year they were done

Couldn't find a wire hanger at work either so I stripped a couple inches og plastic sheathing off a 3 ft piece of coax cable and fished that socket out of my unibody rail.

I don't know about that. They're pretty sturdy if you do it right. had my wheels dipped for almost a year. The most intense wheeling I did was fire trails and stuff, but they held up fine until I hit a tree. Even after that it was easy to touch up.
