Sanded the corrosion off the faces of the 5 TJ 15x8" 5-hole alloys I got for $40 yesterday.
They cleaned up pretty well considering the TJ sat in tall grass for the last 6 years....
I put my 32x11.5s on them and put them on Weezy even though she hasn't got her lift installed yet.
With my 1.25" spacers the TJ wheels & 32s fit like a glove! No rubbing!!!!

Then I started to tackle my Bushwacker Cut-out Flares install.
Got the driver's side on, both front & rear!!
Unfortunately by the time I got done with the passenger's front flare, the mosquitoes were out in full force and didn't let my Deep Woods Off bother them a bit....

Looks like I'll be trying to install the passenger's rear flare in between customers at work tomorry!!
I'll try posting some pics if I can figure out my new, way-smarter-than-me phone I got the other day

Garage
TJ Bezel. (pics soon)
Put a new hanger on the exhaust where I cut out the cat and now it is bouncing off the frame cross member.
Started soaking all the suspension bolts and nuts in PB Blaster for the up-coming 2 inch Fat Bobs Budget Boost and newer shocks and springs.

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys a Jeep. And I ain't ever seen a sad person in a Jeep!!

I have a backyard mechanic that's state certified for inspection, and he has NEVER given me problems. Even when I used to have HID's in reflective housings, he would clear me Lol. But it is pretty lenient here in Texas.

The nut behind the wheel was loose, inspection should have caught that

This makes me happy I live in Oregon. Even in socialist Portland all I have to do is deq. And they only check that I'm not throwing any codes, I have a cat, and I'm not too loud. Otherwise they don't care.

Started it up to go to the post office and was greeted by a terrible exhaust smell, no power when I press the throttle, and a check engine light.

Been wanting to swap out the cat converter for months now. I have a new one sitting right here. Once again, in Maryland, it's requires a shop to test the old one and fill out a pile of paperwork which is submitted to the state and translates into a large bill for the customer.

Might be cheaper for me to just buy a welder and sawzall from Harbor Freight.
