found the little plastic fastener that holds the center of the rear sound bar in my niner. it was just laying there in the trunk and just happened to come across it. no more loose annoying sound bar!

Took it to a shop to find out that my exhaust leak isn't the collector gaskets, but the flanges themselves. So that'll get fixed tomorrow, should sound much less annoying. I want to put the new bilstein shocks on soon too, but with only the stock jack and no stands I feel like it's gonna be a challenge... Then after that, I just need an alternator and a pinion seal and it shouldn't kill me when I drive half way across the country!

Shocks are easy. Just get a strap you can use to hold them compressed, and then you can change them with all 4 tires sitting on the ground

My issue is that I can't get the nuts to budge and there's not enough clearance for me to get much leverage on the ratchet they do look quite easy to change.

edit: ahhh **** it, gonna head out and try again. Maybe they loosened themselves a bit.

edit2: got the nuts off on the bottom... but that top one on the driver's side seems to be seized at a certain point. I managed to break it loose, twisting the shock by hand and it was working until about 4 or 5 threads from the top. Now I can't get it to budge and I'm pissed.

They rolled my 95 back into the shop yesterday. Well we pulled the trans pan, and well yup. Trans is gone. The bottom of the pan was caked with oatmeal like thick stuff. As well as the trans fluid smelling burnt.

Oh well, installing the new transmission tomorrow, so hopefully ill finally be able to drive it. Considering with the test drive Ive only driven it about 30 miles at most. And also have nearly a grand of work into it lol
