Cleaned out the Jeep entirely of trash and debris, swept it, and installed a fire extinguisher in the rear hatch.

Gave her a loooong over due bath, vaccumed out the interior, cleaned up all the dust and dirt that had accumulated inside, and reorganized the back which has been a mess since before I lifted it. Also posted my UC springs in the JF classifieds If anyone is interested shoot me a PM.

Took advantage of the last 3 days of non-stop rain and found an empty grassy field near work and had a blast for the last 15 minutes of my lunch break.

Yea that sucks but it doesn't surprise me in Vegas. Worst drivers I have shared the road with. Was it an old Asian lady from California?

Bought a new water pump from Kolak.

I noticed that too. I got my last truck repainted by a buddy and drove it around for a few days in flat primer and it was like everyone in town was out to get me. Got it painted and no one even parked next to it for a couple weeks

Pulled the trigger and ordered some of the last things that needed replacing. New control arms with bushings all around and new motor/trans mounts. I can't believe I'm this close to finishing everything that needed to be fixed since I got her. After all this is taken care of I'm putting in a quiet D35 (mine has a horrible drone to it) that also has disc brakes, and that'll be it. I'll finally be able to start putting funds aside for a lift and 31's.

I had an '89 Ram with a big block, flat black with some chrome trim. I think the flat paint makes people think it's a slow pos so they cut you off and pretend you're not there. Happened to me quite a bit.

Replaced power steering pump, pulley, reservoir, pressure hose and return hose. Removed broken crappy hackjob k&n cold air intake with stock air cleaner box and hose ($15 at pick n pull WOOT!). Had to order throttle body air inlet bonnet online $54 shipped. Fixed air intake for about $90 including filter vs average $275 or so for full cold air intake kit. Now i'm working on the cooling system. Hot hose on top, cool hose on bottom and reservoir boils. Radiator not clogged, hoses not clogged, inlet tube not clogged, water pump good, replaced thermostat and coolant temp sensor. I think there is major air in system so borrowed a vacuum from a friend to see if pressure drops before filling, then i'll know there is a leak somewhere. If that happens, i'll fill with water and do pressure test to try and find the leak and go from there. If anyone else has ideas feel free to share! Could be overlooking something easy. This is my first jeep and i'm barely getting started on her.

If you have air in the system the temp guage will jump really high randomly till the air escapes
