So you may end up getting a set of re-treaded Goodyear Duratrac's instead of your MTR's. It's a gamble, but it could pay off... Just a thought.
They don't take requests anymore for tire brands. You can't tell what tire they are from anymore.

The brand name on the side wall wasn't a real big concern, I was just hoping to save a few bucks going the re tread route. It looks like that wont be an option at this point though since their site says that they discontinued the 33x1250r15 size all together.

Yep, no one makes newer cars with 15" rims anymore so all of the tires that are 15's that treadwright would use are pretty old and probably past the point of usefulness.

****. Does this mean that when these tires wear out I have to buy a set of 16's AND tires?

Lol no it doesn't. Unless you want retreads.

Many tire brands still make that fit 15 inch wheels.

lol no it's just that it's probably not economical for treadwright since there are a limited supply of 15" tires anymore. You can still buy 15" tires from other brands.

Try getting tires for 15" car wheels vs your Jeep. The only thing really available name brand wise in my car's tire size are truck tires. Guess it's time for 24s on my car...

Although I don't think discount still warranties their tires if they don't mount and balance them.
If you're going to have them mounted somewhere else, just get them from tire rack/ MTRs are $204 each for 33s

Alberta. But I drove down to the border to pick them up. Even after tax and install, I save $500+

This is more than likely the route I will go, that will definitely save a little bit of cash.
