Lol same here. I can't count how many times I've heard "I bet you can't climb that hill" or "I think that guy in that civic revved at you"
It was even worse when it had rained and we went somewhere in my old truck

My girl would flip **** if I tried to race with her in my car. When I met her I had a pro charged mustang pushing close to 500hp.

Those oem replacements?!, my stocks have taken an unbelievable amount of abuse....truely amazing really....but I fear the passenger side has caught too many rogue branches and may let go at any slight impact. If those are as good I will be very pleased!

I gave adjusting my parking brake a valiant effort but did not succeed. That nut was pretty seized. PB Blaster it is...

Now you have a Jeep that puts out maybe 175 to the wheels.

Jeep > Car, not matter the mods. So much more practical in my mind.

Por que no las dos?

I happily own a ZJ and a 240SX. The ZJ is nicer to live with, for sure, with its comfy seats, spacious interior volume, automatic transmission, and sound-deadening material, and it does fulfill my offroading hobby, but I also like a small, nimble, sporty car. The ZJ can never be that. So I got a 240SX when the ZJ blew up its last muffler. Its air conditioner isn't as cold, its stereo isn't as nice, it's not nearly as comfortable, and you have to constantly work 3 pedals and a stick to keep it driving on its (reduced from stock) 120hp, but it's so much fun when it gets its tail out around a corner going way too fast. Plans are in the works to tighten up its body roll and add a supercharger for moar powar. At the same time, I intend to get the Jeep some more aggressive tires and possibly a bigger rear axle and locker.

On topic, today, I adjusted the transfer case linkage. I was gonna try adjusting the cam bolts, but I decided it was a moot point if I couldn't test drive it to dial the settings in. All the little bits I resoldered appear to work now, too, so that's got me happy. Next project: Add a secondary junction block to power various accessories I intend to add. Things like additional lights, interior power sockets, possibly an inverter, most definitely an air compressor. Probably gonna move the trailer wiring power supply to that as well. That'll be a fun project, I reckon. Make the Jeep a lot more road-trip friendly.

Got it. As much as I hate PB Blaster, I caved and used it on my parking brake adjuster. Gotta love having a functional parking brake again. It's been a while. I also love the extra flavor on my everything bagel I'm currently eating from the PB Blaster on my hands.

wen to the local pull a part scored a front skid plate a canyon wheel so I can run a full size spare and some misc. things. Also if anyone is the metro Atlanta area the pull a part in Conley Ga has a Marigold ZJ on row 82 or 83 with the front skid and gas skid and factory recovery hooks on it.

I hate the smell of it. I'll be smelling it for the next 3 days now regardless of how much I wash my hands. I seem to absorb it when I come in contact with it. As far as its penetrating traits go, it's pretty good stuff.

Drove it the longest I have since I owned it. Over 300 miles round trip. No issues for a 345000 mile jeep!!

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys a Jeep. And I ain't ever seen a sad person in a Jeep!!
