I'm going to get another set of jk wheels and mount some studded snows for the winter. I'll probably go with a 30" to give me enough room to run chains.

Today (at work) I swapped my transfer case shifter handle for one I took apart, thoroughly cleaned, lubed the hell out of with white lithium grease, and put back together. Also greased linkage pivot points.

I used to need both hands to move the lever into 4LO, but now I can shift it with my pinky.

Nice, my old ZJ was like that. I thought I was gonna break the lever by trying to put it in 4 low... New one sounds more like yours now, just need to adjust it so it doesn't pop out of 4 low. But I don't get in to situations where I need it, so that's far down the to-do list

New hinge pins and bushings for the drivers side front door & hit some bare metal/rust spots with paint. Including my roof rack.

The first time I moved it into 4LO the handle moved about 3/4" before the rust broke free.... after taking it out today I noticed that I had BENT the handle rod itself!!!

Then I adjusted the shifter to engage both Hi & Lo ranges perfectly, without popping out of either. Took all of 5 minutes.....

Put the interior back together. The new instrument cluster surround looks pretty bad, gonna fix that later. Maybe with paint. Also replaced the sun visors. I was gonna do the t-case linkage but decided it was too hot outside. Three digits of temperature is a bit too many for a t-case linkage on a Jeep that isn't running at the moment.

Those tow hooks aren't there for me. They're there for the XJs.
