picked it up from the shop, someone used a screw driver to change out the transmission pump seal and left a mark just enough for it to leak... 450 later no leaks, and the guy didnt top of the atf fluid so i had to do that for him and now my 4x4 indicator doesnt work

Filled it up & ran it through the car wash. Even though the people I am interviewing with tomorrow won't be able to see it, it makes me feel better to know I washed it before said interview. Also got 16.5mpg average. I love my 5.2 Quadra-Trac GC.

Tried to put the interior back together, realized I left my screwdrivers at my cousin's house. Went back inside and moped.

Those tow hooks aren't there for me. They're there for the XJs.

Used it to take my wife to pick up the YJ she just bought. Then followed her home.

Got my new Goodyear Gatorback belt in the mail today. That's on this weekends to-do list. Hopefully that cures the squealing.

OT: not yet, but fixing to wash it and load it up for our family camping trip to vortex springs! A small campsite that surounds a naturall underground aquatic cave system. Water stays around 65* or so all year round, and during summer in the FL. Panhandle.......that's Awsome! They also got some 4wheeler trails on site but they say "if you can fit through the gate, you can go!" They have a gate that keeps out all the BIGGASS mud trucks out so it don't get torn up by the 44's and what not, burly its perfect for jeeps!

Rumor has it that its the fountain of youth! But I think its cuz when you jump in your gonads shrink up like a lil boys! Hahaha

Apparently I'm going to change the belt on my engine today since it just broke while I was on the interstate.

You really don't need a belt. It's just for accessories.

Guess it's time to replace the drivers side cv axle. Started clicking this morning when I turn to the right. Gonna check out a couple zj's in the local yard and see if any have the u-joint style axles. Maybe I'll luck out and they will

U joint axles will bind more with the 249 you may not like it.

Finally completed the tune up that I've slowly been pieceing together.

New MSD coil, new distributor cap and rotor, new wires and new plugs.

Now I need a new alternator to actually take advantage of all this, it whines and barely keeps the battery at 12V while running. Often will drop below 12 and come back up...
