Put the new fuel pump in the 9er. 2.5 hours later i really wish the last owner had not left a 3/4 tank of fuel in it...

Also replaced the drivers door hinge pins in the Laredo. No more whistle on the hwy. Took front wheels and calipers off to add brake grease to the backside of the pads... still squeek a little. Way annoying.

Tomorrow: put the new battery in the 9er and fire it up/bring it home!

drove it down to where i bought it to look at a 99 tj with the gf. she really wants a jeep now gonna test drive it friday for her since she doesnt know how to drive stick yet haha. well, i taught her in my xj on 35s but it was at the OHV park in 4lo lol.

and discovered another gigantic crack in my windshield. i was at work and a co-worker wanted to hear my system so i cranked it and it hit hard and a rock chip turned into a nice foot long crack. new windshield next week haha. there was already 2 cracks in it when i bought it soooo

not a fan of camo wrapped rigs and yeah, i thought the HIDs would do decent but they are pointless. i am probably going to put a set of hellas on a brushgaurd and wire in HIDs for backroads driving which i do alot of so i can turn them on and off when oncoming traffic comes. but i am liking the halogen lights alot better. HIDs are only good in retrofit or proper housings.

tires are 8 years old but bfg says service life 10 years so i guess im close....
yeah still sucks you had to do that though haha the tri-gaurd sidewalls saved my *** a bunch of times on the xj since i wheel at the iron range OHV which has a bunch of jagged rocks. so many cuts in the sidewalls when i sold them but they all held air just fine. i love BFGs!

hmm..4.0 vs. 5.9...i wonder who will win..lol.

today drove it to work and back, put new bulbs in my fogs so now im completely HID free haha. in the process ended up screwing up the passengers side speed clip so i got it somewhat tight, but will wait until i pull off the cover to put tow hooks in to fix it up good.

then drove it to my brother's lacrosse game and could see some dumb kids peering in the windows. i was a good 200ft away in the stands and could see them and they were doing it to other cars. i hit the alarm from my fob and somehow, it worked! scared the **** out of them and people were staring so they jumped in their POS geo and booked. then it wouldnt shut off until i walked down and got within 100ft lol.

then drove to the local bar to celebrate and there wasnt a parking spot for miles. my parents had to drive a good mile away to park, then we all piled in the jeep and drove up by the bridge over the creek and parked it on the side of the road on some chunks of concrete from the torn up side street haha. glad i didnt get that civic i was looking at
