I also went ahead and rattle-canned my axles and CAs. I had a can lying around, and this wasn't aiming for quality, just a bit fresher look than "surface rust".

Still brainstorming switchboard ideas.

Had some nice finds at the Junkyard. Got a gas tank and transfer case skid for $35. Also got miscellaneous things my jeep was missing inside and out when I bought it. Ended up walking away with a back seat full of parts for $100. Had half an hour to throw some of the small things on but now I'm off to the gym before work. Tomorrow and Sunday are going to be fun filled

I told ya you could do it
Thanks! Ya it was definitely a task but I got er did lol. I will adjust the track bar tomorrow, I know it is shifting the axle to the passenger side roughly an incg which now that you mention it I could see that causing a DW issue for sure. I know the CA bushings are shot and I already picked up the new ones so im just gonna go ahead and do those too since they're cheap.

I think I'm going to have to call insurance tomorrow to get a new windshield. In our second tornado watch & severe thunderstorm in two days. One of my co-workers hasn't had power since 2am.

Packed the ZJ up with some of my small projects, along with the tools to do them with.
I figured I can tackle some of this stuff tomorrow while at the Lee Jeep Rally in Auburn, ME.

I have my Niner e-fan, my Bushwacker fender flares, the transfer case shifter I rehabbed the other night(it works smooth as silk now!), newer(as in "Non-Bent") rear lower control arms, some extra 12V power ports front and rear, and a half dozen more odds-n-ends projects that I can't recall at the moment...

It ought to be a good time along with the benefit of having some time to dub around with it.

Well after putting on new ball joints, cleaning it up and taking it to the jeep meet; it wouldn't start this morning! Was getting gas but no spark so I picked up a coil while I was working. Replaced it when I got home and it fired right up. Got to love a jeep.
