Contemplating the same thing, though my original headliner is near perfect. Lol

Did driver side ball joints and new rotors and pads. Now to the Junkyard for a few things I broke and hopefully some upgrade/mod parts while the rain is at bay. Then back to the passenger side of the axle.

Well in the post he says it is due to wheel hop, which is caused by a bad vc. So he really can't hurt anything by removing it, it'll just help with his front tire wear.

So I did some digging around, and it turns out GDM-equipped Laredos aren't even WIRED for a VIC. So there goes that idea. Oh well, plan b: turn the right half of the GDM into a switch panel, polish up the faded part of the display, and hope that the bad lighting issue was caused by the solder joints I fixed. I think I can get 3 or 4 switches on the empty half, depending on what I use. Thoughts? Concerns? Ideas for what to control with switches?

(No fans or lights; I wire those in with proper controls, or through relayed use of existing switches, eg the high beam switch)

Installed 4.5 inch IRO lift, shes still rollin pizza cutters but I should be able to get the 32's mounted and balanced this weekend. Still have DW so she's not really streetable however I did have to get her home from the shop I installed the lift at so that was a long interesting journey at 30-35 mph lol. Obviously all the suspension parts are all brand new and so are pretty much all of the steering components, and the kit came with an adjustable track bar so the only thing I can really think of that would still cause DW is the control arm bushings are blown out. Gonna try and replace them this weekend and hope that's the cure and will get me by until I can save up the money for adjustable CA's

You said adjustable track bar? Start with that; make sure it's tight and at the right length. If it isn't, adjust it. Mine wriggled out of alignment about a month after I installed the kit. All I had to do to correct was re-adjust the track bar and my DW was cured.

I told ya you could do it

The 32's are going to look small to you and you will want 33's. That's what happened to me.
