Wow seriously? Our club's wheeling trips take us on 120+ mile trips on almost a weekendly basis! I guess that's what I should expect from Montana

I have absolutely zero need to go to Iowa haha sorry!

yeah if she didnt have wheel bearing issues i could stretch the legs out a little

but thats gonna have to wait until i get a new rear or new tubes and bearings in

also

we have almost every wheeling condition you could think of in a very small area (40 sq. miles)

perks of living on an old ring of fire landmark yeah ?

Discovered that my trans leak might be getting worse If it is, then I think I'm gonna have to drop a ton of cash on a built one, as spending money to pull a stock trans with 151k on it that's had more than stock power going through it for 32k (so it's probably on borrowed time) is just dumb. The leak is either the pump seal, input seal or a cracked torque converter or something, it's definitely leaking within the bellhousing.

i could be wrong but

the Mississippi fault line is a where the ring of fire was eons ago and due to continental drift it has moved a few thousand miles

landmarks like east to west flowing rivers and cool sandy or rocky areas from fault movement and glacier recession is what i meant

we still feel the odd quake now and then too

science/geology lesson over

I found a niner that had been sitting in a lady's backyard for four years. Some private car flipper got it running with a new starter and a battery and put it on craigslist. It looked like hell both inside and out, the VC was shot, but it ran like a champ. Has ANYONE ever heard of a niner getting 22mpg on the highway!? I took it off his hands for $2500. Checked the oil and it looked like it was full of chocolate syrup. The diff fluid looked like it was full of wet potters clay. The air filter was black. The last time any type of service was performed was probably at least 5 years ago. You could measure the gaps in the sparkplugs with a ruler. While the airbox was off I went ahead and pulled the IAC and then the battery cables fell apart... I spotted a 3/4 full jug of windshield washer fluid in my garage and decided to top off the coolant resevoi...doh! The coolant needed to be replaced anyways... Then my buddy;s Honda Oddessy needed an oil and filter change so he brought it over. $148 and four hours later everything was done and holy hell did that 5.9 wake the F%$$ UP! I'm sure my fuel mileage would have improved except I can't seem to keep my foot out of the gas anymore

Next, lower control arms (maybe do the WJ arms?) rotors, pads, front and rear bumper, sunroof seal, HIDs, LEDS everywhere, new carpet, new seats, speakers, shocks, springs, center console (I'm thinking hard wood, maybe with an electric cooler?), foglights, and fix the stereo which keeps flickering!! Someone put in a good word for me with Santa.

I've seen 21.8 once out of mine over 330 miles. 58mph with cruise on and a slight tailwind. Drafted a few trucks too. I got 22.5 once on a 60 mile run doing about 60-62, definitely had to have a tailwind for that. And yes, both are hand-calc numbers. Oh, and the 22.5 was after the heads/cam (21.8 was stock).

Changed my PCV valve and hose that goes fro it to the keg. Then I moved on to the front diff for a little TLC...

Took off cover to drain fluid and check out the gears, which look great. Cleaned up the cover and the bolts, re-painted with Rustoleum Hi-heat black, and filled her back up. I'm now 100% leak free!
