Yes....

The yellow light I understand - still, it's something that just about nobody gets pulled over for. The only reason I got pulled over for accelerating quickly is because he heard me, I wasn't doing anything ridiculous. You should be allowed to reach the speed limit as quickly as you'd like.

Montana cops just don't care... Unless you're in a diesel. We don't have ricers or BMWs around here. We have diesel truck racing, and cops know the difference between a diesel and a jeep... Mostly. I pulled up next to a diesel with exhaust two days ago and couldn't differentiate between the two. Only thing that could possibly make a difference was the whistle coming from under his hood

Anyway, the 3" exhaust behind the 5.9 is a huge step up from the 2 1/4" exhaust behind the 4.0. And when you add an aggressive muffler and/or headers, you're bound to attract attention, good or bad. The ricer guys around here (all 4 of 'em haha) all stop and stare whenever I drive by their little hangout. A jeep with a V8?? Couldn't be!

Gonna take my 98 for one final joy ride on some old logging roads before she gets sold tomorrow.

Then next Tuesday I'm going to pick up my new 95 ZJ.

Refreshed all the plastic with transmission fluid. The mirrors and handles are black like I wanted and the cladding and bumpers are a nice darker gray. Also touched up some chips and scratches on the body with the touch up bottle

Why would you do that with tranny fluid?

Someone on here said its an old trick to restore faded plastic. Doesn't take much and tranny fluid is cheaper than half the so called restore products u can buy. Thought I'd give it a try and it worked well. Plus it's very easy to just wipe off the body vs having to be very careful with other products.

Adjusted the rear hatch latch. Luckily my zj had the metal clip for the rod in there and not the plastic ones that I hear break easy. Adjusted it one thread and now no more pushing to get it to open.

Dana 35c behind a 242, behind an AW-4, behind a 4.0L Inline Six sitting over a Dana 30, all turning stock 215/75/15 tires and moving a 93 Grand Cherokee to places your truck only dreams of.
