I restored my headlights with Colgate Toothpaste and a rag. Much clearer than before. The real test will be at 5am on the way to work.

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys a Jeep. And I ain't ever seen a sad person in a Jeep!!

Replaced front lower control arms. Was riding the stock ones (180k miles) and I gotta say: New arms and bushings restored the feel of the steering and suspension gloriously.

Swapped out the Engine Coolant Temperature Sender , took all of 2 mins. Tucked my down o2 wires away since they got tore up last wheeling trip & got it ready for this weekends trip to Ocala

Dropped my old busted up 2 piece D30 out, and earlier today I found a replacement D30 with 3.73 gears (or so says the tag), need to transfer over some parts then load her up.

Decided to keep the ZJ around a bit longer instead of tearing it to pieces right away.

All about that unibody life.

Got out a 12"x12" piece of cardboard and a 16lb sledge and "readjusted" the drivers rear corner of my hood that sticks up 3/4" from shutting hood with a flashlight under the back edge a couple years ago, then made a failed attempt at installing the Setina PB400 police push bar I scored at the recyclers today for 30 bucks to repel the ridiculous amount of antler rats (deer) where I live. Went online to look for mount ideas before fabbing anything up once I realized the supplied crown vic mounts weren't gonna work for me, found a post on these forums that gave me a better idea than the one I had, so I registered just to thank the guy, then made this post.

Will be nice to have something in front of the radiator besides a chunk of styrofoam and a little plastic. Last deer cost me a radiator, a tranny cooler, grille, header panel, ds headlight, cracked cover and a pretty good bend in the front welded on unibody cross member that somehow passes as a bumper. I barely hit the thing, but theres just really nothing on the front of the Zj to stop it. Love the truck, but I don't know what they were thinking with this front end design. Probably wouldn't have even noticed I hit the deer in my old '83 wagoneer, that thing was a tank !
