Dang, I've had a few "Oh sh*t" moments since I bumped up to 5.5" from just a BB, I don't even want to imagine what 8" would feel like.
Back on topic, I ran power to my CB today, so it's not just a looks good accessory. After trying to tune if for quite some time, I still can't get the SWR readings under 3 still. I switched the mount position, ground off the paint again, and trimmed ~5" off the Firestik antenna. It'll probably end up having to go to the local CB shop to find out what I've neglected to do.
Finishing up from the axle swaps- gave it a poor man's alignment (i'm surprised and impressed), put a new TRE in my front trackbar, finished painting the badges, lubed up all the grease zerks i could reach, installed a new stainless shifter handle, fixed my OBA, and yanked the abs relay until i figure out which wheel sensor (or tone ring) is f-ing me, which is tomorrow's job.
Also, would anybody be willing to sell me a single misalignment bolt (i think that's what it's called) for the front LCA's? One of mine was sacrificed in the axle swap.
