Tank installed. Timed one tire and it looks like it will take just about 10 minutes to air up 35" tires from 10psi to 30psi, but I might have to address a small leak at the compressor connection.

Finally installed front tow hooks. Waiting for rain to run through the mud!

Handed the keys over to my old man. Took the keys to the explorer and went and bought some power and ground wire in the 4gauge flavor for the exploder. Dads got his beater to drive to work. I'm going to get him to drive his truck tomorrow night to work so I can have the jeep to take the system out and start getting in the explorer. I have prior engagements after work tomorrow. So tomorrows going to be a long night for sure.

Wrapped up my intake manifold/plenum gasket and '703 injector swap. Getting some white smoke out the tailpipe, so it looks like I have a leaky injector somewhere.

I vacuumed Weezy's carpets today, for what I believe may be the first time it's been vacuumed this century!

I've been busy with more important things than vacuuming in the last 5 weeks I've had her.
All in all I filled a 2.5gal bucket 3/4 full with what i vacuumed from all the carpets and under the seats..... I think she sits a lil' higher now.
Under the rear seat bases there was a pile of acorns & varmint turds, a petrified pile of dog puke, 20+ popsicle sticks, half a dozen various pills, some crumbs of weed, 2 pennies, a swedish fish, and a couple french fries... some people are effing PIGS!!!!

Ain't it great? That's pretty much along the lines of what I found when I first cleaned my 9er out. Minus the weed and animal excretion, I had it ALL!

X2 on that. I hate taking any vehicle to a shop unless absolutely needed.

Though my ranger i just sold yesterday is a prime example as well. Took it in for a rack and pinion leak earlier this week, dealer said it needed a whole new one. They install it, complete an alignment and i pick it up. I wasnt 5 minutes away when i turned around and said try again. The front right swaybar endlink was loose, so everytime i hit a bump you heard a clank of metal. Steering wheel was off center by like 2 inches. Yeah their alignment guy is lazy. And the power steering system wasnt even bled properly. You could feel the air in the system everytime you turned. At least they fixed it all. Then I pretty much went straight from the dealer to the buyer.

Before anyone asks....i had a non factory bumper to bumper non transferable warranty on the truck still and i fixed the leak so the new owner wouldnt have to fork over the cash. Yeah im nice like that. Im gonna miss that truck though. 65990 miles when i handed over the keys, not bad for an 04.

I sold my '01 Ranger in '06, 3.0with 5-spd, it had 135,000 on it then. A friend bought it, it now has over 300,000 on it. It got it's first new set of brake pads at 200,000.
Clutch lasted until 225,000! We both used it for towing small landscapng trailer. I would buy it back anytme. Great little truck!

They'll get to that almost dead, everything is failing point, but then they seem to stay there indefinitely and not completely die. Also, a 2nd gen has an 8.8 in the back. 3rd gens were IRS.

We bought our '01 Explorer new, now has 219,000 on it. Trans was flushed every 40,000, axles and transfer case fluid changed at 100,000 & 200,000. 4.0 has had nothing but Mobil 1 since 76,000. No leaks anywhere, 18 mpg in town, 22 mpg on trips. Runs like new!

Met up with a local group of Jeepers for a meet and greet and mini cruise. Mostly Wranglers except for me and the guy I parked next too. Snapped a couple pics with my phone before we took off

The guy in the off white Jeep had a JF sticker on his windshield but I never got a chance to talk to him
