Well think I'm going to have to park my zj for a while got my new hi flow water pump on to day but I've got other problems my crank shaft has some end play from wore out thrust bearing and I'm thinking the tq converter ballooning under load is the cause going to drop the pan this weekend and see if the crank is messed up hopefully not cause it's only has about 15,000 miles on it hopefully I can get by with just new crank bearings and TC while it's apart I prolly go ahead and rebuild the trans and swap in my 242 t-case. I just have to put a clutch in my low rider so I will have something to drive
I replaced my PCV, cleaned and oiled the K & N (no, I didn't buy it, it was on there when I bought it), tried to add driving lights to the front bumper but the metal doesn't seem to stick out far enough to drill into so that project is on hold.
Found one of the straps on the gas tank was rusted through and the tail pipe is loose from the muffler on back. AND, the rattle I've been listing to is coming from inside the muffler.......(excuse to replace the exhaust with a better one?????
trimmed my rear fenders today. looks good even at 5ft, and now my zj looks like it sits level. now i just need to get rear bumpstops and the RE sf arms and the rear will be done for a little while
Glad you are ok. If you were a cat, you would be down to 8.:D
I got a little ambitious and tried to pull an f350 put pf a mudpit at the local swap meet today. I normally wouldn't have even tried but my buddy whom was with me egged me on to try, and im not one to pass up a little fun in the mud
needless to say I got a good dose of skinny pedal and stuck it down to the frame (using a bungee toe rope). Took two tractors to pull me out, only one for the ford because I did all the work
