once you take the pan off you'll see the only area of the trans where nothing is there ie valve body, solenoid, band etc.

Thank You! Did you install it on the bottom or rear side of the pan?
I have a bunch of stuff to do while under there. I have all new control arms w/ bushings, 2" BB, shocks, sway & track bar bushings, trans & motor mounts, oil filter adapter O-rings and new exhaust pipe isolaters. The PO had installed new E-brake cables but did not adjust them or installed them incorrectly.

Decided on a plan for some new shoes for the ZJ. I'm gonna keep the current 255/65R16 Toyo A/Ts (on stock 5.9 wheels) for wheeling and dirt roads, etc. The other set of 5.9 wheels I've got is gonna get wrapped in some 245/70R16 Nokian Hakka R2s for winter, and I think I'm gonna pick up a set of 17x8 Mamba MR-1s (pretty much TJ Moab replicas, but an inch bigger and with a couple cosmetic tweaks).

The Mambas will get run with 3/4" spacers (not sure if I can run the spacers with the other combos yet, might have fender clearance problems). They'll be wrapped in 275/55R17 General Grabber UHPs for street / dragstrip / DD duty. I burn through A/Ts pretty fast on the street, especially when I drive it hard. I figure that summers will get about the same tread life, but be a bit quieter, get a little better mpg and they'll be stickier on pavement.

Cleaned mine out from a camping trip over the weekend and fixed the annoying rattle I've been listening to for over a month now. Though it was the plastic trim over the lift gate but turned out to be the overhead light between the front and rear seats. Found that out when I drove over some train tracks a little too fast and it swung down and smacked my buddy in the head lol

Picked up some new rims and rubber for an unbeatable price.... free! Old are factory 225/75/R15's. New are 225/75/R16's. They are plain old GY Wranglers ST's of a new Wrangler, but for the price, I couldn't pass them up! Looking for some wheel spacers and hopefully a BB, and I'll be started on the vertical climb!

Yea, they could be JK wheels, don't really know for sure, but thats what the spacers are for, going from 5on 4.5 to 5on 5 and adding some width at the same time! Not the coolest looking shoes, but again, I'm not complaining considering the free-ness of them.

Today I replaced the tie rod end at the drag link. Hopefully some day I'll get the complete Currie linkage system.

Tried to figure out why when I hit a mid sized bump in the road I get DW or take a sharp turn at middle speed ?
