Does anyone know why I have a rubber hose connected near the top of my front diff that just hangs down and doesn't drip any fluid?

It's the breather tube for the diff, it allows air to enter and escape the diff. If it's hanging down, you might want to figure out a way to hang the end of it up higher with a zip tie to the firewall or something so it doesn't suck water in if you go through high water.

I ran mine up by the the airbox. If there's no water going in there than it won't get in the breather!

Thats actually a really good idea. The very slight vacuum it will see may also help prevent seal leaks on the axle. I will make a note of that in my todo log!

Put the finishing touches on my roof rack light bar. Got all the wiring tucked and covered just so, got proper mounts for the switches and it all turned out exactly the way I wanted it to. Looks very clean, I'll throw some pics up tomorrow.
