I just built it with my odd-job money and blood, sweat and tears Paid my mom for it in full with winnings from local small-deal races; Big Sky, Whitefish, Great Divide, etc. Took me awhile, but I had a blast doing it! Would recommend the sport to anyone with a major adrenaline habit

So much bike talk. My kona stinky hasnt seen much use since a shoulder injury put me out of commission for a season a few years back, but I used to ride all through high school! My Fischer my mom somehow managed to weasel away from me... I'll get it back though. 98 Gary Fischer wahoo. Amazing winter bike when you have working breaks, lol.

Found my strange noise that was driving me nuts , after lifting it I guess my old front sway bar bushings did not like it , I can slide my sway bar side to side in the front , new bushings on the way.

Got my rear axle cleaned and painted yesterday.. toss new bearings and seals at the shafts, install the discs and it'll be ready to go under the rig.

I'd be in trouble if I had a girlfriend. So would she. My wife wouldn't take too kindly to that...

So far today, on the '93, I changed both front calipers, 3 steel brake lines, cut out the rust in my wheel wells and welded in some fresh metal.
Then I took both ZJs down the road to our local garage and got them both inspected. A pass on both of them!!!
Which is good, cuz the '93 really needs more work before it's truly legal....
Good thing they know me well and know it will be fixed pronto!!!

Called RE after discovering that no bushings came with my track bar. Guy was very confused by that so sent some new ones out.

I was happy, I ordered 6 (1 spare mounted and a spare in case I get a nail or a tear) and including shipping it was around 750. Just have to pay for mount and balance. Not too bad.
