Today I questioned my plans for her.

Yesterday, I helped my buddy buy a '97 Orvis. Now, I haven't been in Jeeping circles recently, because my Jeep went kaboom and I bought a 240SX to daily around, but that Orvis has Jeeps on my brain. As some of you may recall, I had to abandon a V8 swap in my Laredo because I ran out of money and needed to fix my 240, and I don't intend to go back that route. I was considering supercharging the 4.0, but I've decided against it, because there's no practical way to do that without sacrificing my air conditioner or running it without charge cooling.

So I think at this point, I'm just gonna replace the broken bits of the existing EFI with some Mopar stuff, and patch up the muffler, once I get some money. And then, if I find another 97 Orvis equipped like my friend's, I'm gonna take the lift off Cheyenne, put her back on the Land Rover tires she came on, and sell her so I can buy the Orvis. (Who knows, I might even buy my friend's; he might decide it uses too much gas)

Just thought I'd post in here about it.

Replaced the liftgate on my 95 after a rear end collision. Not as good as new. Having a hard time aligning the latch. Maybe because the frame is twisted.

I wouldn't trust long arms mounted to the trans cross member. I came down on that once in my old stock ZJ and pancaked it. It's just to flimsy.
