Noticed this morning on my GDM that my lights for the rear wheels were burned out. I put it 4wd and the front tires light up.

Question, is that a regular light bulb to replace or is that an LED that's soldered on?

Should I grab a GDM from the JY?

Mine does the same thing all the time, there is a short in mine somewhere. If it give it a few more drives, then all the lights come back on. Mine is completely random. At least it doesn't ding at me like crazy saying I'm low on Blinker fluid

That's worth doing as well. One of the bands is externally adjustable, the other requires dropping the trans pan. If you need the specs and such from the FSM, shoot me a PM and I'll give you a link to a PDF of the manual.

Lots of pb blaster and the longest breaker bar you can get down there. The hardest part isn't even the bolts lol it's getting the hub off. I don't live with rust and I swear it was welded on lol

After spending a good portion of last night reading about 46RE rebuilding, I swear I though my transmission was slipping on the way to work this morning. It wasn't. The wheels were. Stupid ice. Stupid 2wd niner with an open D35... Stupid stupid stupid.

ya i started it off with a little heat then decided if i had to buy another hub i would and set the torch up to be on it while i could walk away and used a breaker bar with a pipe on the end with about 80% of my weight... so around 200 pounds

if you get a breaker bar get duralast or craftsman they garentee them for life and i snapped the duralast after the 3rd use, but the replacement is holding up just fine
