Yes, you can buy the bushings separately.

Replaced the capacitors on the intermittent wiper delay module and fixed the wiper delay. When it went bad it would just run on slow speed for any of the delay positions. Got really old turning the wipers on and off to get just one wipe. Works great again for $8 worth of capacitors.

Spent all day trying to hoist the motor out of the donor. No good, man, it just does not want to come out. We're gonna try one last thing tomorrow and see if we can get it. If we can't, we'll have to all but reinstall it and pop the tranny off. I'd hoped to avoid that for numerous reasons.

In other news, the hoist I had was indeed faulty. This hoist I've borrowed from a family friend (and fellow Jeeper) lifts the whole powertrain near effortlessly, but tension on the lift chain pulls the hoist right into the ZJ's bumper. I think when I pull the 4.0 for the swap, I'm gonna rent an excavator and do it the easy way.

Fork lift makes a great lift!! Try blocking the wheels on the hoist?

I don't have access to a forklift, and we tried chocking that hoist against anything we could, to no avail. We even got a hi-lift and tried to use that to push the hoist and Jeep away from each other. Nothin'. Tension on that chain is too much.

So tomorrow, we try Convoluted Solution #2,516: Move the donor to the bottom of the driveway, maneuver the Rodeo in front of it, chain the hoist to the Rodeo, drag the Jeep out from underneath the motorset. The hoist lifts the assembly high enough that it should clear, but not high enough that it clears on its own.

Be sure to take a video of your process.

I don't recall if stock shocks use these kind of bushings, but I don't see why they wouldn't.

Haha. In my suburban, if we have the left blinker on and lock the door....the horn honks! It hilarious, I show every one that I can.

Made these tonight to hold the sway bar up out of the way while disconnected.

Attachment 561252

Just has a loop on one end and clasp on the other. Wraps around the unibody and then under the end link then in between the endlink and the sway bar the the loop goes in the clasp. I'm out of the little connectors to make the loops. Ill grab some tomorrow to make the other side and do that when I get off work.

Made these last night

Attachment 561255

Those are the discos. My dumb a$$ forgot to put the washer on the end bolt so when I go to take it appart tonight the sleeve is almost out of the bushing. Okay no big deal got that taken care of and then I put the washers on. Not long enough. Can't back the bolts out any farther. These were the longest hardened bolts ace had. They had longer in hardened. Do I need hardened bolts for this?

Okay. These are 12 mm which is slightly larger than 7/16 a chart online says only 1mm difference. Would it be okay to put a 7/16 bolt in? If so ill go to ace tomorrow and see if they have anything longer in 7/16 grade 8
