I would think you can replace the existing dimmer with a potentiometer from radio shack. I'm trying to find the resistance value for the existing pot...

That's a good lookin yota. My grandad bought one new in '86 that he kept until he passed away a few years ago. My uncle got it and now I think it's just sitting at his house. Once I get the zj how I want it, I'm gonna try to get that pickup and bring it back to life
I did the same thing I've done every morning for the last two weeks. I looked at it, wished I was taking it to work, got in my Nitro, started the 3.7 with much chagrin, and left. My wife wants to go on a "date" this weekend. Maybe I'll take the ZJ too.
