Tried to fix my dimmer with no luck. I saw the broke solder joints but the riostat is busted anyway so I just bridged the connections on the board to make the dash lights stay on full brightness all the time.

And i harnessed the unlimited power of the 5.2 to move my yj around lol

Very possible, my driveway is a out a quarter mile long and there are usually a few deer darting infront of me if I come home late.

Also found that I have a bad engine mount

Even with upgraded headlights, I keep my dash lights on full dim at night for better night vision.

On topic, I ordered the cheapest radiator Rockauto had for it so I have something to throw in while I send the leaking Griffin back for repair. Anyone gonna need a spare V8 ZJ radiator in a few weeks?

If one is bad just replace the other and do the trans mount too at the same time. No sense in putting a new one in only to have the older ones wear it out quicker.

Made a winch plate that tucks back 3" behind the grill. Now just making side to make a simple bumper.

Better than ordering from the dealer, go to your local automotive paint store and ask if they can mix the color and put it in a rattle can. Many shops can do this for fairly low price.

Anyway, I took delivery of the parts Jeep today. It seems it's been some months since it's been run, but it cranked up and sounds pretty good for all the black smoke it was spewing at first. Probably bad gas. I need to get the old Land Rover wheels on it since the ones on it now are flat, and test it, see what it needs. A battery for sure and it seems the brake lights are permanently on. I don't need those, though, just the motor, tranny, and axles, but I gotta see what all of that works. I'd have pics, but it was getting dark when I got it.

If you can find out what the max and min resistance is to that potentiometer you can decide on one between the two and buy a resistor at radio shack. Replace your jumper with that and voila you have the lights set where you like them!

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys a Jeep. And I ain't ever seen a sad person in a Jeep!!
