Shuffled cars to get the Jeep in the garage. The girlfriend isn't happy but whatever. Her Scion is an outside car. If anything I should be *****ing about parking the Hemi outside.

Plan on doing some routine maintenance(brake pads, fluids), getting the bumper buld going in a different direction, bypassing the trans cooler and radiator and doing a stand-alone trans cooler, and dialing in the alignment a little better.

Everytime I crank this 318 over it surprises me. I grew up on carb'd 318s in all of our Dodges. My first truck was a D150 Ram with a 318 and when it was cold outside it took a bit to get her started. But that truck was the smoothest running and most reliable I've ever had. Enjoying the fuel injection on the jeep I suppose.

Installed an FM modulator so I can have auxilary audio input plus USB charging port. My XM radio sounds so much better and I do not have the funky noise coming from the cassette tap interface I was using. Not a difficult job.

I hate when old people poke me at weddings, point and whisper, "You're next." So I've started doing the same thing to them at funerals

Removed the overdrive unit from my Trans.. Turns out the drum in my Trans is blown in pieces. Wish I had the time to do an ax-15 swap. But I don't, so it looks like I'll be rebuilding my tranny. But oh well, I like being under my Jeep, even in 30 weather

Will be taking down the Trans tomorrow and then bringing it to a shop to get it rebuilt with stronger parts if possible.

Just finsihed my sub install. Dual 10" pioneers pushed by a 1600 watt Boss amp. Im liking it so far. Only problem I had were with the remote wire there was no power on my radio harness so I picked an ignition fuse and ran it straight from the fuse box to the amp. also had to tear the dash apart to run my rca cables.

Yes, stock head unit. You can buy them, I got mine at amazon.com. It plugs into radio antenna input and the antenna plugs into the modulator.

Drove it around town getting prices for new tires. Factory head unit quit reading CDs so looks like I'll get to swap that out tomorrow with something different
