I only did my front lowers due to a bent CA, my other bushings are still original and not too abused looking. No difference in ride from doing just those 2.

Changed the oil. It was really getting time. That oil was black almost. I think, next change, I'm gonna seafoam it first. Now I guess I need to change the tranny fluid, t-case fluid, and diff fluid. And get some tow hooks. And replace all my steering stuff.

And the beat goes on, "da-da-dum-da-dum-dada".

Drove it to meet up with Squashman and trade some 5.9 front seats for wheels / tires for the parts 5.9 so I can keep the 5.9 wheels for myself when I get rid of it.

Not today, but over Saturday through yesterday I put 1600 miles on it driving to Michigan and back! Not to mention a fully loaded 1600 miles, on the way up I was loaded with about 500lbs of presents and dogs, plus my wife and I. On the way back we were so loaded I had to put the spare on the roof rack maybe 700lbs. It was rubbing real bad on the bumps so I attempted the quickest fix I could think and changed shocks on hope of a slightly better ride an not to shred my BFGs. Didn't rub much after that as long as we stayed near 70mph.

We averaged 15.6 mpg on the trip up doing about 70 the whole way... Thats calculated the over head was saying 15.5. And yes Davig I maintained that through Saturdays weather in Ohio. The trip back down we averaged 14 with the spare on the roof and suspension maxed out, not to mention 4 hours of the wife driving over 75 (mostly through Ohio). What can one do?

I had to leave the Lincoln Tombstone and my 231 up there. Hopefully my rents will bring th down in March...

It may be a salvage ZJ that I have been rebuilding since June but its 5.2 averages better MPG on that trip than my 4.0 does by over 10 gallons even when loaded to the max.

Probably wouldn't have had rubbing problems with Stock tires and rims...

Spent a good hour this afternoon trying to figure out how I wanted to run the wires from my Hellas on the roof down to the interior without drilling a hole, running it through a door, and not using the sun roof. Came up with a big goose egg... Any help would be appreciated lol

When I had my lights on my roof I ran wires through the roof rail then down the winshield trim to where the door and fender meet inside the rubber trim in the door jam then under the dash to the switch. My zj is white so I used white electrical tape around the exposed wire on the roof could even tell it was there. No wires were pinched during the time I had them mounted.

I'm boring!

New O2 sensor for my 5.9 yesterday, but I've got other plans to come, that'll be cooler and less route-en maintenance:-)
