Too late, she already said yes...for eternity.

Looked at it in the driveway and smiled. Just got some more Jeep Funds from selling my school books. Made a hefty $380. Thinking OBA and some more safety gear.

So close to having it.

Also trying to find someone to trade me for a 5.2 ZJ.
I miss ZJs.
Niners didn't come in black, or its a repaint

Niners definitely came in black.

Anyway, I wheeled it a bit on some development that's on hiatus for the winter. Nothing serious and nothing I had to put it in 4 for, but it's fun to get her off the roads every once in a while.

She looks so much cooler than Scott's Rodeo.

(Scott even managed to get high-centered. Had to tug the Rodeo off with the Jeep. In 2wd. I love my Jeep)

The "black" being referred to is actually Deep Slate. It's very dark grey. Niners only came in Stone White, Bright Platinum and Deep Slate. The slate ones often look black, depending on the lighting. However, park one next to any actual black car, and the niner is unmistakably not black.

Deep Slate, Black, same thing. I can hardly tell the difference and I'm only a little colorblind.

Are the niners the only ones that came in the bright platinum? Because I saw a bright platinum zj today. But it had regular 96+ limited rims.

You could get other 96+ ZJs in silver, not sure if it was the same as the platinum on the 5.9s though. IIRC, the 5.9s are the only ones that came in slate, other ZJs came in black. You could get the stone white on non-5.9s though.

The 5.9 is not even close to black. Maybe for you since you are color blind but if you put it next to a black vehicle it's clearly not black.

Freestyle, I would say no.

Stripes are for ricers and ugly mustangs.

Still doesn't look that bad but that's only because your ZJ is badass.

I have mixed feelings about it. I was thinking of doing it with plastidip just to see what it would look like in person, then worst case scenario I peel it off. I've seen a red ford ranger around town with the same kind of paint job, raised section painted black flowing into a black grille, and it doesn't look bad. And it would match my grille and hood louvers cause those are plastidipped too. I'll have to think about it.
