You're making false equivalences. WK2s haven't been around long enough to have 200k miles or be submerged in as many floods as ZJs. Nobody knows what WK2s will be like down the road, but the same thing was said of ZJs when they first came out, with their power heated seats, automatic air conditioning, rain-sensing wipers, 10-speaker audio, electronic automatic transmissions, and multi-port fuel injection. But ZJs ended up just fine. I have 250k on mine. And that's with Chrysler's legendary bad electronics in the 1990s. I'm optimistic about the WK2. I think it'll go the distance.

My idea of modification is usually if you don't like it, tear it off.
