But ZJs ended up just fine. I have 250k on mine. And that's with Chrysler's legendary bad electronics in the 1990s. I'm optimistic about the WK2. I think it'll go the distance.
Zj's have rain sensing wipers? I think not...

Driving the niner in 2wd on wet pavement should be fine, provided you aren't stupid with the skinny pedal (no WOT in 1st gear) and have good tires. Heck, I drive mine in 2wd in the snow most of the time (unless it's 4+ inches or icy enough that I'm having trouble getting it moving).

Whoops, I've been helping my buddy find a WJ for a couple weeks now. They have rain sensing wipers and it's got me confused on what all ZJs have- I have a minimal-options Laredo lol (On a related note, my first car, a 1987 Nissan 200SX was the first car to have rain-sensing wipers as an option)

Anyway, point is they've got electronics out the wazoo and a lot of the electronics are related to just keeping it running.

Moving on, today I fixed my parking brake and driver door and got the radio fixed up to let me bluetooth calls with the car audio. I also fiddled with the headlight switch, but I realized I don't have a soldering iron tip, so I had to put it back in without fixing it.

About 400 miles from now, I'm gonna change all of her fluids and give her a tuneup. 250k is so close I can taste it.

I finished up re connecting the front axle, installed 1yr old monroe shocks from my Laredo and took its icon rims w/ bfgoodrich and installed them on the TSI which also just got the laredo's 242. Now the TSi is about ready to drive to Michigan for Christmas. Only thing left to do is cut and balance the rear drive shaft and the exhaust...

The TSi's drive shaft is fully engaged on the slip yoke, and the 4.0s only engages .5 inch. I am going to have the Longer one cut down by 1.25 inch.

Not sure which way well go yet. If the roads are bad I'll stick to 77 all the way to the Ohio turnpike to 75. Otherwise I'll come right through there!
