Read the owners manual I picked up in a JY. Figured out how to set my clock to 12hr instead of 24hr. Yay.

Hey, bmeyst, you've got the setup I plan on running. 2.25 BB w/ 31's. how do you like it? Did you lose any power? Is it capable off road? Did you have to do anything else to it to accommodate the 31's and bb?

31's fit on a BB. They look good too. I have a set of 3/4 tread 31" mud claws I would sell. I have 6" lift now and need to move up to 35's

I (along with any BB ZJ guy) can answer that you will need to do some minor trimming on the front bumper cover (or just take it off as I did) to fit 31s with a BB. Apart from that, it's a great step above stock, but you will always want to go bigger, especially if you're on JF a lot

Off road I have been fine in my ZJ; don't expect the performance of a giant mud truck or a rock crawler, but in most cases the setup allows for good suspension travel and the bigger tires means increased ground clearance.

You may have to upgrade some worn suspension components when you get lifted, as you'll surely experience death wobble if you don't. New shocks are a must as well.

Anything beats stock. For $250 shocks included and the price of tires, you can transform your otherwise ordinary ZJ into a mean looking very fun truck that will get you lots of respect on and off the road

In my case, from this:

To this:

What does all this mean? Go ahead and do it already!!!

Want to trade someone my IRO benchmark lift for their stock rear springs, sway bar links, new budget shocks, and stock track bar.

Going to be towing and liked the stock comfort level.

I'm going to buy the warden a/t from treadwright.com, I've heard alot of good things about them. I don't have a front or rear bumper right now, I plan on building new ones. Due to my ZJ being a DD, 2" is all I want for the moment. My suspension stuff is in good shape, as far as I know. Is there any way to get adjustable air shocks for the rear after the BB? And the front, for that matter? Had a set on an old truck I had, I just loved them. I do alot of towing. I'm trying to budget everything out right now, so I know what I need to buy. I don't do much wheeling, what with work, school, and a 2 year old.

No idea on air shocks but if they are available they will be expensive surely. Just stick to regular gas shocks, but don't cheap out. I bought some Procomps that were supposed to be intermediate level in terms of cheapness, and they are extremely stiff. Looking back, I would have gladly paid more for a better ride.

hey, i have 2.25" 4wheelcustoms lift and 31"s...its prefectly capable offroad, ive done steep rock hill climbs and have gone through some deep puddles. it gives you quite a bit of ground clearance.
