Mine did that before it died for good. Ended up replacing them all except the lift gate and now the keyless works great!

Gave her a bath to get rid of all that salt. Then located what was left of my block heater cord and replaced that, luckily a tech had a spare one in his tool box. And finally got around to replacing the brake light bulb!

I removed my transfer case skid plate, which was a total PITA! It has taken a lot of hits this summer, I'll either need to beat it back into shape or make some sort if belly skid. Then drained the fluid and removed the drive shafts. Tcase is coming out tomorrow and getting rebuilt and Saturday installed in my TSi... Pending removal of the 249 first.

That sensor is difficult I gave up on the brass piece that went over it and just bolted it in without it.

mine didn't have anything over it?! I thought there should be, that is a pretty big opening! Swivel head socket helps ALOT after its finger tight anyways.

$1.80. Not too much. But I do have almost 20 Chuck E Cheese tokens from the back seats.

Had free time, installed a new hood hinge on the driver side door after the hood latch failed and bent the old hinge and hood. My daughter had to start the bolts, my hands and my wifes were to big to get into that space. Once we did that, the ratchet strap, that had been holding the hood down, finally came off and I oiled the hood latch and both hinges, works really well now. Then we determined, (through a voltimeter) that the light switch for the instrument gauges isn't the culprit for why the dash is still dark, I'm not sure what is causing the blackout, but that's one piece that it isn't. Busy day. Oh and I bought the Haynes manual for the truck, it's already been damn handy.
